MIDDLETON LODGE, IN MY OWN WORDS.
A Georgian country retreat set in 200 acres of rural North Yorkshire, designed by architect John Carr (he loved Palladian styling, I had to Google it). Carr also built or altered more than 60 bridges, which still serve as the road network backbone of North Yorkshire. Leading me seamlessly to the backbone of Middleton Lodge, which in my opinion is the fantastic team. It always feels great to photograph a Middleton Lodge wedding and see so many familiar faces. Everything about this place is done to a high standard, but without the pomp and ceremony. If Middleton Lodge is good enough for Roy Walker(ask Anna Russell, she’ll tell you the story), then it’s good enough for me.
