At Rachel and Stephen's Wynyard Hall wedding yesterday, Rachel brought along her pearl white hunters just in case! They married at noon and it started snowing at 1.30pm by 2.30pm she was more than happy to pop them on and brace the cold for a quick selection of shots outside with her husband. The Globe Stockton on Tees...

Today I’ve been back to The Globe in Stockton to progress the refurbishment. It’s been eight months since my last visit and since then it’s been soft stripped (a lovely builders term). All the bingo paraphernalia has been skipped and I can now see what a fantastic theatre this once was and is going to be again. During today’s shoot I found parts of a movie poster in the original projection room and I’ve just googled the movie and it starred George Peppard(A Team fame) and was released in 1965 and it bombed. On a more positive note I also found out that The Legend that is Cliff Richard, wrote Summer Holiday in the orchestra pit. I’d love to hear more stories like this if you or your granny has any to share?

A small selection of images from Mike and Kay’s pre-wedding shoot. Taken on possibly the greyest day of the year. Thankfully using a couple of Elinchrom flash units and some jiggery pokery I managed to brighten things up a bit. Looking forward to the wedding in May 2012 at Middleton Lodge and meeting back up with the crazy gang! x
